How to start a timer part way
in when one misses the start time [iOS]

Some timers can be started at a certain time; This time can be either in the future - the timer is scheduled to start, or in the past - this is when the timer was started untimely.

There are two ways to set the Delay function:

1. Through the timer control buttons

- Tap the magnifying glass button in the lower right corner.

- Click the 'Delay' button, which is next to the Start button on the control panel under the time circle.

- Select the appropriate tab of the deferred time period settings: Wait time, Start date, End date.

- Using the date and time settings in the time selection pop-up, set the desired time when the timer should start.

- Click the Start button.

2. Through the pop-up contextual menu.

- Press the timer to bring up a contextual pop-up menu.

- Click the 'Delay' button.

- Select the corresponding tab of the deferred time period settings: Waiting time, Start date, End date.

- Using the date and time settings in the time selection window, set the desired time when the timer should start.

- Click the Start button.

The application will recalculate the date and time according to the duration of the specified time format in the timer settings.

The timer will start automatically after the end of the delayed time period.

Important note:

In case the timer was not started in time, it can be started with the elapsed time. The delayed timer start function can also help with this. When setting the function, the user needs to select the 'Start date' tab and scroll back the time values to the desired date and time.
